SMS & Text Messaging Terms
The Engine by Want To Sell Now LLC sends text messages only to people who opt in, in one of two ways. Sign-in and verification codes (two-factor authentication): an account user opts in inside The Engine by choosing "Text message" as a sign-in method in Profile > Security (or in the optional "Secure your account" step after sign-up), entering their own mobile number, and tapping "Send code" under the SMS disclosure. These texts contain one-time codes only, one each time the user signs in or confirms a number, and never marketing. Text-message codes are optional: email and authenticator-app codes are always available instead. Account updates: people who check the optional, unchecked SMS consent box at theengine.dev/sms-opt-in receive messages about account setup, platform updates, onboarding reminders, and customer support, with a frequency that varies based on account activity. Providing a phone number alone is not consent, and SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or of using the service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help, or contact support@theengine.dev. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheEngine is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
For notices and support, visit theengine.dev. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
